Fall 2017

Look what's Cooking at TL! TL students launch the first seminar for TL Culinary Academy led by a guest Chef making snack pizzas with quick ingredients you would find in a pantry and refrigerator. Students enjoy their self-made after school snack while learning pro-tips of pizza making while building community with fellow students. Thanks to Elizabeth Galbreath, TL Lead Teacher, Kate McDonald, Founder TL Culinary Academy and Vice Chair, Academic Excellence at Terra Linda High School for cooking up so much fun for our students. Also, a huge thank you for the generous donations to the OneTL Family Giving Campaign.

Spring 2017

3-D Printed Valentine Chocolate was created through a joint effort of TL Innovation Lab  and TL Culinary Academy to explore how tech is touching areas of the culinary arts. During our lunch time Maker Lab, TL students created designs of 3-D heart shapes in CAD programs on the computer, then 3-D printed plastic heart-shape molds to create impressions in the silocone candy trays. Next, students learned about chocolate techniques like tempering to create festive chocolates for  Valentine's Day!

Fall 2016
