Academic Excellence Monthly Parent Forum --

Join Principal Katy Dunlap and Academic Excellence's for our monthly parent forum to learn about new academic opportunities for your student and also how we as a parent booster group work together to advocate and support enrichment that impacts all students at TL.

III. Education Trust West with Rachel Ruffalo, Senior Practice Associate.
The Education Trust—West works for the high academic achievement of all students at all levels, pre-k through college in California. Rachel helps inform, focus, and coordinate ETW’s work on closing achievement and opportunity gaps, working with schools and districts throughout California.  She contributes to overall research, data collection, and product production of the Practice Team.  Key areas of work include student access to rigorous content (e.g. Common Core State Standards, English Development Standards, college and career preparatory curriculum), effective teaching, and education for equity.

IV. Berkeley (Electrical Engineering and Computer Science) will be presenting about new app!cation.

V. Reminder: Transitions & Transformations, 5th Annual Student Art Show & Reception at Art Works Downtown opens Friday, March 8 from 5-8pm. Exhibit and Reception are free and open to the public as part of the 2nd Friday Art Walk on 4th Street in San Rafael.
